did some thinking

i thought about what i said earlier, about going to alaska with no training, I found that that will be impossible, I would have to sit around all the time, than go, I don't want to do that, i want to bike. what I am going to do is bike around here(wisconsin) and that make alaska the farthest I have ever biked. after that, I am going to use alaska as a major trip starting point, and plan other bike trips that are around the usa and canada.

sorry, a I tried to copy and paste my about me post, but it failed, and it's too long to remember so I will do it another time, sorry

milage that I have biked total, just discovered

I have just counted my miles in the last few years. I discovered while deer hunting, that i have biked total of 240 miles, but i haven't counted the small things, like biking to church, or the store, or to my cousin's house, since I'm not sure how many times I have biked there. for now on, I will be journaling my milege, and I have to buy a bike computer to count the exact milege. around december, before the snow flies, I am planning one more trip to manitowoc for the year, I would bike more, but it gets darn cold up here sometimes, and it is a bit hard to bike in the snow and icy roads. but I will be keeping up on my milage through the times I am biking. this summer i am planning a trip to beaver, a township about 8 miles from crivitz and than from there, I am going to bike to michigan, which is only about 30 miles from crivitz. that will be my first major trip ever. oh and beaver from kellnersville WI is about 85 miles and it takes about an hour and 15 to drive my car, so I am estimating about 8 hours of biking to get there, roughly. I will be staying at our campsite in beaver, for about 2 days or so, than is my trip back. everytime I bike, I will write down the place time, and milage that i have traveled, I will be sure to post my log every month, so be aware of that.

welcome

welcome to biking toword success. I am trying to slowly start crosscountry biking, since I have been biking to and from a place called manitowoc wisconsin. it's about 15 miles from my home in kellnersville. I have started biking last summer as I was board one day, so i took my bike with the wonder of how far I could possibly go. before that I have biked pritty far, even for a 16 year old at the time. I think that for an 18 year old, I have a lot of stanima. I surprised a lot of my friends by biking the distance that i have biked, i even surprised myself the first time too. now it's time to start surprising america by biking to alaska without any training, don't know if i will make it, but I am willing to try, the only training or well if you call it training is my trips that i have been taking to manitowoc, which find it enough to call it training. I have to do a lot of planning for this trip, and i plan to do this by 2012, if I can't make it by than, I will notify you. with this trip, i will post a daily log on youtube to show you how I am doing, but I will have to do some planning. I need supporters for this to bring me through, thanks for reading this.
